Cam bearings should be replaced with every rebuild, just like main and rod bearings, every time the block goes to the machine shop; it's almost too simple and thus often overlooked during a rebuild. Use this set on engine blocks with removable tappet covers: 850cc, 997cc, 998cc, 1098cc, and Classic Mini Cooper S. Has narrow bearing at the oil pump end; this set is used on the 1300 Automatic, as the depth of the oil pump requires the use of the narrow bearing. Note early 850s use only the front bearing from the set. From a quality aftermarket manufacturer.
