Brake fluid is hydroscopic, meaning it absorbs moisture from the air over time. To ensure your classic Mini brake system's safety and reliability, it is recommended to change the brake fluid every two years. Brake fluid is toxic and also damages vehicle paintwork; always store brake fluid in tightly-closed original containers kept well away from the reach of pets and children. Do not spill the brake fluid and do not fill the brake fluid reservoir beyond the MAX mark.
