2005-2008 R52 Cooper and Cooper S Convertible

If your top opens only on one side, there is a good chance the cable mechanism broke on the side that won't open. We have seen reports of this cable detaching from the latching mechanism due to an unrepairable mechanical failure.

NOTE:  When replacing the Cable mechanism, MINI spedifies that the Gate to be replaced with the Fastening Kit.
