All starters are not created equal! The higher the compression the motor, the better starter you need. If your motor turns over slowly when trying to start-it could easily be a weak or worn out starter. Fits all Minis prior to pre-engaged type.

For all minis up to the fitment of the pre engaged type in 1984/5.

"ALL" Minis starters have the same bolt pattern of 4 1/2"
