Canister oil filter specifically for use in all years of classic Mini (1959-2000) with automatic transmission; will not fit ADO16 models of 4-door 1100/1300 saloons (Austin America). About twice as long as the standard element, and is mounted horizontally. Remove the grill for access. Approx size 5-1/4" long & 2-1/5" diameter.

The canister holding the oil filter on our SPI automatic feels quite flimsy and easily crushable when trying to get a good seal. Is there a more robust canister available?

Answer:
