ALL the drain plugs in the Mini trans should have a magnetic tip on the end! If for some reason yours does not - then this is an absolute must have. But just as important if the threads on your plug are worn, then a new plug may save you from having to re-thread or replace the transmission case! Same plug fits all models of the Mini.
