Fuel Tank Strap Upper Long | Classic Mini
Early classic Minis with a two-piece tank retainer system used this strap on the top; this is the longer of the two. This strap is used on the earlier 6.6 gallon tank, and goes around the circumference of the tank, as opposed to the later 9 gallon tank where it goes across diagonally. The shorter strap is 2A2231, and both are used on left- or right-hand tank fittings.
