Reproduction version of the under load-floor mounted fuel tank for the long wheelbase Classic Mini Van, Estate, and Pickup (excluding the very early side-tank wagon). Because of the outside location of these tanks, below the rear cargo area, they can take a real beating and should be checked periodically for damage and corrosion. This tank is also used on many kit cars and specials owing to its shape.

These tanks use the original fuel level sender unit which is sold separately, see AAU8340. When replacing the tank you will also require the plastic fitting nuts three (3) each 21A304 and 21A305 plus new screws AB614101 and AB614061 or the whole fitting kit 21A291FK.

Do not forget to replace the 2A2069 sealing ring on the neck bottom and the 14A7057 top neck to body grommet seal.

NOTE: 7.2 gallons (U.S.) is equivalent to 6 Imperial gallons.
