Originally a rubber seal for the non-locking standard petrol caps, it is now made of a E10 Ethanol-resistant poly-type material that will fit any genuine petrol cap. It has a 60mm outer diameter and a 39mm internal diameter hole which is close enough for nearly all caps made for the Classic Mini as it does stretch quite well.

Is this the interior seal or the exterior one? I need the seal for inside the gas cap mine is falling apart and needs to be replaced asap.

Yes, this is the internal cap seal that goes against the fuel tank neck.
