Heater control valve, mounted in-line with the hose and located in the engine compartment. For Classic Minis from 1989 until SPi (single-point injection) models (not for MPi [multi-point injection]). Point of interest: this marked the first time Rover did not bolt the heater valve as a direct outlet on the cylinder head.
