When you are working on your Classic Mini and want to make sure you try to stop any place that could result in an oil leak- be sure to replace these bushings. The driveshaft outputs from the trans do indeed have a normal rubber seal on them BUT just as important is the bronze bush that fits in the end covers just behind the rubber seal. When this bushing is work, the outputs are not held in place close enough that they will exceed the ability of the rubber seal to work- so that even new seals will fail within jsut a few miles. These bushings are for the Hardy-Spicer.
OD= 1.5"X ID= 1.375"
See 2A3538 for pot-joint and yoke-type.
